On 16 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Moscow, had a meeting with students, including those from the republic, of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MSIR) of the Russian Foreign Ministry and told them briefly about some events during the BRICS Summit successfully held in Kazan last autumn and about the development of life in the region which is one of those economically stable in Russia.

On 16 October at their meeting at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MSIR) of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov and the Rector of the University Anatoly Torkunov discussed issues of the development of education and interaction with leading universities of the country as well as AI.

On 15 October Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Head of the Federal Road Agency Roman Novikov and the Chairman of the Board of the Alekseevskfdorstroy Company Foat Valiev took part in  a solemn ceremony of opening a new road – the bypass of the Village of Sokury in Laishevo region of the republic. 

On 15 October at their meeting in the Government House of the republic held with participation of the regional Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Korobchenko, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Senator of Russia from the executive branch of the Zaporizhzhia region, member of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Dmitry Rogozin discussed issues of cooperation in a number of spheres. 

On 15 October, speaking at parliamentary hearings on a draft law ”On Budget of Tatarstan for 2026 and the planned period of 2027 and 2028” held at the State Council of the republic, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin said that the main parameters of the Tatarstan budget are formed based on the baseline scenario conditions and forecast for the economic development of Russia.

On 15 October in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Co-Chairmen of the Commission on Cooperation of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia and the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Ilyas Umakhanov and Sadyk Safayev, who came to take part in the Х meeting of the Commission held in Kazan.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked for having chosen Kazan a venue for the meeting and said: “I would also want to thank you for your attention to the development of interaction with our republic. I am sure the special role in strengthening our partnership belongs to inter-parliamentary contacts.” 

On 15 October Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin is taking part in hearings of the State Council of the republic which discusses a regional draft law ”On Budget of Tatarstan for 2026 and the planned period of 2027 and 2028”.

On October 14, at a solemn ceremony in the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the Strela-Ak Bars rugby club on winning the Russian Championship in the 2025 season. The Strela-Ak Bars Rugby Club won all the country's major trophies in the 2025 season – the Russian Rugby Championship, the Russian Cup and the Russian Rugby Super Cup.

For the first time in the history of Tatarstan rugby, our team completed «gold treble» by winning the Russian Championship, Cup and Russian Super Cup.

Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that this result is a triumph of many years of work, faith in success and the combined efforts of the players, coaching staff, and devoted fans. It is especially valuable that these remarkable achievements came at a time of growing interest in rugby in Russia. "This historic championship is the result of the team's management's concerted efforts," the Rais of Tatarstan said.

On November 6, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Minister of Sport Vladimir Leonov and the President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpischev discussed issues of further development of tennis in Tatarstan. 

On October 14, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao National Academy of Politics and Public Administration Phouvong Unkhamxen discussed the issues of long-term cooperation in Russian-Lao relations was discussed. The Rais of Tatarstan expressed hope that the stay in Tatarstan will be comfortable, productive and efficient.
