On 23 September, speaking at his meeting with the Governor of Shandong Province Mister Zhou Naixiangm, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the leadership of the province for having organized an informative and useful programme for a delegation from the republic. He noted unprecedentedly high level of relations between Russia and China and said they are an example of how relations between states should be built. 

On 23 September, speaking at his meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Director General of the Haier Group Mister Zhou Yunjie, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said:” We are pleased with the constructive relationship established with the Haier Corporation. Your company has become not just an investor but part on the industrial family of Tatarstan.” 

On 23 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Shandong University and had a meeting with its Rector Li Shucai, where he noted the importance of the current educational forum for universities of two countries. “We have once again confirmed that the Shandong University is the flagship of the research and education complex of the province.  You are recognized leaders in the fields of mathematics, engineering, medicine and many other areas of science and technology,” he said. 

On 22 during his working trip to Moscow the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minikhanov had a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin, where they discussed issues of social and economic development of the republic, giving special attention to the pace of housing construction.

Rustam Minnikhanov informed that as of the beginning of September more than 2.8m square meters of housing have been commissioned in the republic, ranking it the third among regions of Russia. Multi-apartment housing construction shows a 43 per cent increase compared to the last year with approximately 1 million square meters completed, he said. In his turn Marat Khusnullin emphasized that the figures are good and it is important not to lower them now, especially for individual housing construction. 

On 22 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, the Chairman of the Council of the Association of Russian Automakers – the Director General of the KAMAZ Automaker Sergey Kogogin and the Director General of the “ITE Expo International” Dmitry Zavgorodniy took part in a ceremony of opening the International Commercial Transport Exhibition “Comtrans-2026” held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center on 22-25 September.

On 19 September at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Head of the Gorky Railways –the branch of the Russian Railways Company – Sergey Dorofeevskiy and the Head of the Kuibyshev Railways - the branch of the Russian Railways Company- Vyacheslav Dmitriev discussed issues of the development of cooperation between the republic and the Railways in organizing passenger and cargo transportation.

The Parties of the meeting outlined plans for further development of infrastructural projects in Tatarstan such as the platform modernization, installation of modern lighting system and repair of surfacing at several sections by the end of the year.

Participants of the meeting examined separately support measures for shippers and enterprises of the republic.

On 19 September at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General of the Rosagroleasing Company Vladimir Balter discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in agribusiness and the support and modernization of agricultural enterprises.

On 20 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the “Time to Be Together” festival held with participation of more than 70 thousand people at the Family Center in Kazan. 

Welcoming participants of the festival, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked them for taking active part in the elections and said: “The elections in the republic have been held at a high organizational level. I thank you for your active civic stance.” 

On 20 September at the polling station in the Settlement of Borovoe Matyushino in Tatarstan, the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov cast his ballot at the elections of members of the Russian State Duma of IX convocation.

On 19 September at the polling station 143 in Chetaeva Street in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin cast his ballot at the elections of members of the Russian State Duma of IX convocation.
