On 23 August, upon his arrival to the Groznyy Airport, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to the Republic of Chechnya, was welcomed by the Chairman of the Chechen Government Magomed Daudov. 

Tomorrow, on 24 August, Rustam Minnikhanov is taking part in events dedicated to the 75th birthday of the First President of Chechnya, the Hero of Russia Akhmad-Hadji Kadyrov.

On 22 August, speaking at a meeting held in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic on the State Flag Day celebrated today.

On 22 August in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Metropolitan of Holy Metropolis of Kerkyra, Paxoi and Diapontioi Nisoi within the Church of Greece whose visit was dedicated to the brining of the reliquary containing the right hand of Saint Spyridon of Trimythous to Kazan on 17 August from the island of Corfu for the veneration and spiritual support of believers.

On 20 August at the Nizhnekamsk site of the Green Valley special economic zone (SEZ) , the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitriy Patrushev, the founder of the Ningxia Eppen Biotech Company Yang Xiaoping and the Head of Nizhnekamsk region of the republic Radmir Belyaev took part in a solemn ceremony of launching the construction of the first plant in Russia which will manufacture high quality food amino acid – DL methionine. 

On 20 August during their working trip to Naberezhnyye Chelny, the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the poly-lingual gymnasium №59 “Adymnar-Chally”, where they looked round the school, got acquainted with concept of its work and inspected created conditions in the canteen, the ceremonial hall and the swimming pool.

On 20 August the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, who came on a working trip to Tatarstan, and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the KAMAZ Automaker plant in  Naberezhnyye Chelny , where they looked round the main assembly line and talked to the staff of the enterprise.

Today the company capacity can produce up to 60 thousand vehicles a year and the Government of Moscow is one of its key ordering customers and partners, which has long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with the KAMAZ in various spheres.

On 19 August during his working trip to Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the Russian Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects. 

Speaking at the meeting the Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that the country is implementing the Structural Transformation Plan in economy by 2030, including the development of the labour market by creating modern productive jobs and increasing production in branches with high added value. 

On 19 August during their meeting in Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to the Russian capital, and the Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (YAE) to Russia  Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber discussed  the exchange of experience between the republic and the UAE in the spheres of Islamic banking, Halal industry, Muslim education and further cooperation within the framework of the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group, which Rustam Minnikhanov is the Head of by the errand of the Russian President. 

On 18 August at his meeting with the Deputy Governor of Heilongjiang Provincial People’s Government Mister Zhang Qixiang on the sidelines of the ROSTKI Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked his guest for his participation in the Forum as a guest of honor. He told that the republic as one of the leading regions of Russia plays an important role in strengthening international ties. Last year the Tatarstan-China trade turnover reached record numbers and made 3.35bn US dollars, which active work in this direction going on in the current year too, the Rais of the republic stated. 

On 18 August at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut discussed results and prospects of the development of agribusiness of the republic, the harvest campaign progress , support measures and a number of other issues.

Last year agricultural production grew by 7.3 per cent in Tatarstan which is higher than that average in the country. The republic possesses high crop growing capacity and is the largest grain producer in the Volga Federal District. More than 500 thousand hectares have been harvested with about 2m tonnes of grain threshed during the current harvest campaign already.
