On 9 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the regional Cabinet of Ministers held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the acting Chairman of the regional State Council Marat Akhmetov, the Honorary Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhamethsin, heads of Ministries and agencies and heads of cities and regions, which was dedicated to main parameters of the forecast of social and economic development of the republic in 2027-2029, the forecast of the consolidated budget of the republic for 2027 -2029 and the draft budget of the Territorial Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund of the republic for 2027-2029.

On 8 September in his greeting on the occasion of the Day of Languages of the Peoples of Russia, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “This state holiday is celebrated for the first time. At the same time it is a natural development for our multi-ethnic Fatherland.

The native languages embodies wisdom of previous generations, reflects the worldview and values of people. That is why its preservation and passing to future generations is a contribution into stability and sustainability of the Russian society which follows its own unique path.

On 7 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov came on a working trip to the United Arab Emirates, where he took part in a ceremony of opening the annual Investment Forum in Dubai. 

Speaking at the forum, the Rais of the republic expressed deep gratitude to the leadership of the UAE for openness for cooperation with regions of Russia.”Tatarstan is both a partner and a participant of the event since the moment of its establishment,” he reminded. 

On 6 September, speaking at his meeting with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov shared his impressions of the organization of the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan and stated that Tatarstan will do everything to maintain a proper level of competitions when holding them in Kazan. 

The parties of the meeting discussed issues of cooperation in a number of spheres such as industry, agriculture, culture and sports. 

On 6 September, during his meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who is a working trip to Kazakhstan to take part in a ceremony of closing the World Nomad Games 2026, handed in Sadyr Japarov a certificate for two rare saker falcons. In recent years extensive work has been carried out in Tatarstan to restore the population of this rare bird species.

On 6 September in his address on the occasion of the Day of the Oil and Gas Industry Workers, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated employees of the branch with their professional holiday and said: “This year is special for Tatarstan as we are celebrating the 80th anniversary of discovering the Devon oil. This event has changed the destiny of the republic forever and has become a powerful impetus for rapid development of the industry, construction of new towns, rising of mighty oil and gas petrochemical industry and creation of the one of the strongest engineering schools of the country.

On 5 September, upon his arrival to Cholpon-Ata, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, where he shared his impressions from the ceremony of opening the World Nomad Games he attended earlier. 

“I was deeply impressed by the level of organization of the current Games and the spectacular nature of the opening ceremony. It will be not easy to repeat your success but we will try,” he stated. 

On 5 September, upon his arrival to the International Airport Issyk-Kul of the town of  Cholpon-Ata, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was welcomed by the Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Minister Ulan Mamtakanov and the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan  Akyl Toktobaev.

On 5 September, during his working trip to Almetyevsk, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Head of Almetyevsk region Gyuzel Khabutdinova took part in a ceremony of opening the competition of professional skills among young oil workers. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that such competitions give young specialists a good opportunity to show their skills and knowledge, to take a fresh look at usual work approaches and to see how their colleagues work and borrow the best experience.

On 5 September the resident of Tatarstan Radik Salakhov won the gold medal in the absolute weight category in korash (national wresting competitions), thereby confirming the status of the strongest competitor at the World Nomad Games. As a result the Russian team has won six gold medals, five of them winning athletes from Tatarstan.
