On 15 August, speaking at a regional meeting held with participation of the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the regional State Council Marat Akhmetov with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to hold the International Forum ROSTKI “Russia-China – mutually beneficial cooperation”, which will take place in Kazan on 16-19, August at a high level.

On 15 August, speaking at a regional meeting held with participation of the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the regional State Council Marat Akhmetov with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave a number of errands.

On 14 August during his working trip to Apastovo region, the Rais (Head ) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of opening a Miras boarding school for boys of the pubic charity fund Yardam-Help designed to accommodate for free 40 residents and four caregivers at a time. The education programme is designed for four years and is aimed at children aged 12 to 17, who will study spiritual and cultural heritage of the Tatars and will have in-depth study of Tatar language, elective study of Arabic language as well as spiritual upbringing. The students will receive their general education at the Apastovo Secondary General Education School.

On 14 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov went on a working trip to Apastovo region where he looked round a dairy plant, the construction of which started in the Village of Tabar-Cherki last year, and had a meeting with agricultural workers.

The plant which is planned to have 400 cows will produce 4,380 tonnes per year, or 12 tonnes per day upon reaching design capacity and, after commissioning other plant facilities,  it is planned  to increase the livestock number up to 1 200 creating 25 jobs.

On 14 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov went on a working trip to Tetyushi region, where he first flew round fields of the region and then visited the agricultural expositions of local producers of agricultural products, fish products, mineral water, polyethylene pipes, heating systems and so on.

Later the same day the Rais of the republic had a meeting with heads of farms, investors and heads of rural settlements with whom he discussed the current situation in the fields.

The Head of the region Ramis Safiullov reported that 41 per cent of fields have been harvested with about 90 thousand tonnes of grain threshed. Currently the farmers are getting ready to sugar been harvest, he said.

On 13 August, speaking at a regional August meeting of workers of education and science held at the Russian Drama Theatre in Naberezhnyye Chelny with participation of the Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committed on Education Irina Belykh and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to start the new academic year at new schools with high quality and on time.

On 13 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov went on a working trip to Naberezhnyye Chelny where he is to take part in a regional August meeting of workers of education and science. Before the meeting the Rais of the republic visited the children’s recreation camp “Sledopyt (Tracker)” and the family school “We dare to dream!”

At the camp, which was opened in July of the current year after capital overhaul, Rustam Minnikhanov looked round residential facilities, the medical office, the canteen and noted that the camp has all necessary conditions for safe and quality recreation of children and for hosting large events.

On 12 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov inspected readiness of the new terminal of the Kazan International Airport after G. Tukay where he was told that there will be a gallery built to unite the new and already working terminals. 

On 12 August in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Acting President of the Republic of South Ossetia Marat Kambolov where he thanked his guest for having visited Kazan and his interest to cooperation with the republic.

“Relations between Russia and South Ossetia have always been of a special alliance character. A number of investment cooperation programmes are being implemented. There is interaction in political, defense, trade, economic, humanitarian and cultural spheres. You have all capacity for expanding interaction with entities of Russia,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

On 11 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to organize work to provide comprehensive assistance in gathering all necessary information, including conditions of the injured,  to colleagues from a working group, which arrived from Uzbekistan to Nizhnekamsk and to organize transportation of the bodies of casualties to Uzbekistan.
