On 1 September during his working trip to Nizhnekamsk the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Youth Affairs Rinat Sadykov had a meeting with participants of the XI students’ educational forum “League Forum” organized at the Kama Artek Center. 

On 1 September during his working trip to Nizhnekamsk the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited a yard renovated by the regional programme in the city and is the winner of the top-200 in the online-voting of residents in choosing priority facilities to be renovated in 2024.

Speaking to residents, Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the Our Yard programme has been implemented in the republic since 2020. “Since then about six thousand courtyards have been renovated and we will have completed this work in the republic maximum in two years.  As many 600 yards have been renovated in Nizhnekamsk. It is huge work,” he said. 

On 1 September during his working trip to Nizhnekamsk the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov looked round the renovated Lyceum №3 after Pushkin in Nizhnekamsk. 

Today 800 children study at the lyceum which was built in 1966 and underwent capital overhaul, including repairs of engineering infrastructure, in the current year.

On August 31, during his working visit to Yelabuga, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the improved city beach, the work on the construction and improvement of which has been carried out since 2022. The project includes the clearing of a reservoir, the removal of a dam, sand washing and landscaping activities. Work on power supply, outdoor lighting, video surveillance, installation of water supply and sewerage networks for the specified area has been completed.

On August 31, during his working visit to Yelabuga, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with heads of enterprises and institutions, heads of rural settlements and region activists.

The head of the Yelabuga region Rustem Nuriyev reported that the harvesting campaign completed by 74 per cent. The yield reaches 40 c/ha. At the same time, winter crop sowing continues – 40 per cent of the plan has been completed to date.

On 31 August during his working trip to Yelabuga the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of opening the Children’s Educational Center Eureka in the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve. 

In 2016, after having looked round the historical part on the city, the Rais of the republic made a decision of allocating money from the budget of the republic and raised by sponsors on the establishment of the Children’s Museum and Educational Center. 

On 31 August during his working trip to Yelabuga the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited a renovated memorial complex located on the Memory Square opened on 9 May 1995. 

During preparations to celebrations of the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory, the municipality prepared a project for capital overhaul of the memorial to soldiers from Yelabuga fallen during the WWII and the installation of an obelisk to the fallen participants of the special military operation. 

On 31 August during his working trip to Yelabuga the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the concept of the development of The Merchant’s Yelabuga Historical Park and the Head of the region Rustem Nuriev informed him that the tasks set for the current year concerning the park have been fulfilled completely.

On 31 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Yelabuga Central Regional Hospital where he looked round the renovated in-patient facility for 428 beds, the ICU, operation theatre and an IC ward.  The Central Hospital provides in- and out-patient medical services to 78 500 people employing 1 316 workers with seven more doctors to joint in by the end of the year. 

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov attended the festive horse races dedicated to the Day of the Republic held at the Kazan Equestrian Center.

After watching the international riding competition Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the Equestrian Federation of Russia Marina Sechina handed in awards to the winners.

Today the Center also hosts the most prestigious races for the Cup of the Russian President held with participation of about 200 horses from 30 regions of Russia.
