On 8 October at their working meeting on the sidelines of the XIV St Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF) the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov and  the Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Board Oleg Aksyutin, who is also the Head of the Gazprom prospective development department, discussed expansion of the strategic partnership between the republic and the Company, in particular such issues as development of gas supply of the region and promising spheres of scientific, technological and industrial cooperation. The parties of the meeting noted the positive dynamics of the Gazprom interaction with industrial enterprises of Tatarstan.

On 8 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Gazprom Board Aleksey Miller looked round stands of Tatarstan enterprises at the exhibition organized at the XIV St Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF).

On 8 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov came on a working trip to St Petersburg to take part in the XIV St Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF) which is one of the most authoritative business events of gas industry and annually gathers leading representatives of the world community who traditionally discuss the development of Russian gas market and world trends in the development of gas industry. 

On 8 October before the beginning of the plenary session of the international business-”TIME: Russia-India. Mutual Efficiency”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin visited an exposition located on the sidelines of the forum on the first and the second floors of the Rameev IT Park in Kazan and got acquainted with the stands of the companies participating in the exhibition.

On 8 October, speaking at a business breakfast on the sidelines of the first forum ”TIME: Russia-India. Mutual Efficiency” held in the Rameev IT Park in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov thanked everyone for taking part in the forum and stated that the event of such format is held with India for the first time.

He said he is sure that the forum will become a starting point for implementation of joint projects and foster strengthening Russia-India relations.

On 7 October at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service (Rostechnadzor) Aleksander Trembitsky discussed issues of interaction in ensuring industrial safety in the region. 

On 6 October at their meeting in the special economic zone (SEZ) of Alabuga in Tatarstan, the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Maksim Oreshkin discussed such issues as the further development of the Alabuga, creation of conditions for resident-companies, training qualified specialists which are more in demand by resident companies and other topics.

On 1 October, during his working trip to Laishevo region of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited a new educational center Tarbiya Uzyage located in the premises of the Ihlas Mosque in the Village of Usady and built with funds from philanthropists.  During his visit Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the technical equipment of the center, which has nine classrooms and a multi-functional ceremonial hall, with its main spheres of work and teaching methods used.

On 1 October, in his address congratulating old people and old stagers with the International Day of Older Persons, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote:” Today we pay tribute to you, the people whose work has become the foundation of the wealth and prosperity of our republic.

On 30 September in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Education of China Du Jiangfeng who has won the International Zavoisky Award in the current year to be given him at a ceremony in Tatarstan Academy of Sciences later today.
