On April 25, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in a general meeting of Russian Commission for UNESCO affairs at Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On April 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov inspected spring agricultural works in Sarmanovsky region. He was accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov and Head of the region Farit Khusnullin. The president held a meeting with heads of farms and villages. Khusnullin reported on the course of the sowing campaign.

On April 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a Board session of “Tatneft” Oil Company in Almetievsk. The Board reviewed the company’s budget execution for the first quarter of 2016 and approved the budget for May of the current year, as well as discussed the results of the financial and economic activities of the company for 2015.

On April 25, at his meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Latvian Republic to Russia Astra Kurme, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that notwithstanding the political crisis business contacts between Tatarstan and Latvia should be developing.

On April 23, in Kazan, at gala-concert of the XVI regional open television youth festival “Sozvezdie-Yoldyzlyk”, by the decision of Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was awarded the highest honorary Order "Kindness. Love. Care" for his selfless work for the benefit of children.

On April 23, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Pavel Astakhov took part in a gala-concert of XVI regional open television youth festival “Sozvezdie-Yoldyzlyk”. The festival is held under the auspices of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Commission for UNESCO affairs.

On April 23, speaking at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that as many as 6,051 citizens’ complaints to improve the quality of housing and utilities service were filed in the first quarter of 2016 in Tatarstan.
