On August 12, at a video conference briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Tatarstan First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Nikolay Titov reported that about 3.1 – 3.2 million tonnes of grain will be ground in Tatarstan this year. Issues related to the harvesting campaign and conservation of fodder for livestock were discussed at the briefing.

On August 11, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Fortex Group’s production site in Kazan to get familiar with the production of ventilation systems and metal structures.

On August 11, SPE "Tasma" launched new prospective production line in Kazan. The company with 80 years of history has developed production of heat-shrink barrier film. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn launching ceremony. Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin, Head of the Executive Committee of Kazan Denis Kalinkin also attended the ceremony.

On August 10, at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov of the republic reported that as of August 10, 545,000 hectares or 34 per cent of the harvested area have been thrashed in Tatarstan. The croppage makes 1,234,000 tonnes of grain, including 494,700 tonnes of winter wheat.
