On October 21, at his meeting with the Chinese delegation led by Chairman of the National Committee of the People's Political Consultative Conference of the 12th convocation, Chairman of the Russia-China Friendship Association Chen Yuan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov welcomed the guests on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and wished them to enjoy staying in Kazan.

On October 21, at his meeting with Tatarstan State Counsellor, who is also a member of the Board of Guardians of Russian Chess Federation, Mintimer Shaimiev, Board Chairman of Russian Chess Federation, a member of organizing committee of the Super final Mark Glukhovsky told about holding women’s and men’s Russian chess championship in Kazan on November 27 – December 7 this year.

On October 21, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, Head of Federal Tax Service of Russia in Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that this year tax authorities will collect more than 4.4 billion roubles of property tax from individuals in Tatarstan this year.

Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Guardians of Regional fund “Revival” Mintimer Shaimiev, Co-chairman of the Russian Historical Society, Director of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Anatoly Derevyanko, Minister of Culture of the republic Airat Sibagatullin, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the Institute of Archaeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences Nikolai Makarov, Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov, Director of the Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies of Kazan Federal University Ramil Khairutdinov and others took part in a plenary session.
