On 23 July during his working trip to Kazan, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Vitaliy Savelyev  accompanied by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the project of a new passenger terminal on the Kazan International Airport.

On 22 July His Holiness the Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, accompanied by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Director General of the KAMAZ Automaker Sergey Kogogin and other officials, visited a polygon of the KAMAZ scientific and technological center in Naberezhnye Chelny where he looked round the exposition of KAMAZ trucks and tested on of them by driving it.

On 22 July the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, His Holiness the Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, who came on a 20-22 July visit to the republic, the Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev and the Bishop of Naberezhnye Chelny and Yelabuga Gavriil took part in a ceremony of laying of the foundation stone for the Resurrection Cathedral of the Naberezhnye Chelny Diocese where the Patriarch consecrated the stone.

On 20 July upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia was welcomed by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Tomorrow the Patriarch will hold the Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the Day of the Appearance of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.

On 20 July the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov  and the Head of Alekseevkiy region Sergey Demidov got acquainted with the progress of harvest in the region, where they flew round the fields. 

On 20 July the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov looked round the fields of Aksubaevo region and got acquainted with the harvest work progress.  The total area under crops in the region is 78.9 thousand hectares, including 44.2 thousand hectares of spring crops and 22.5 thousand hectares of winter crops. 

On 19 July, speaking at meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via video conference, the Head of the Chief Veterinary Directorate of the Cabinet of Minister of the republic Timur Galeev reported about the current situation in hazardous cattle infectious diseases and informed that Russia is seeing an increase in infectious animal diseases, including brucellosis, rabies and African swine fever, which are a serious hazard for cattle breeding and humans

On 19 July, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that harvest is an important time in life of farmers when the main burden falls on combine and machine operators and a special attention should be attached to following labour safety regulations and working conditions of farmers, ensuring their timely quality food and decent wages.

On 19 July at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to consider the possibility of increasing the number of public Wi-Fi points in the republic.

On 18 July, speaking at his meeting with Russian Senators and members of the Russian State Duma from Tatarstan held in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin and the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the senators and members for the work they are doing. In particular he emphasized their contribution into taking decisions important for the republic, the development of the new Special Economic Zone (SEZ) “The Green Valley” in Zainsk region of the republic, facilitation of implementation of infrastructural projects in Mendeleevsk and attraction of federal money by the 1119 programme.
