On January 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a summing up meeting of the regional Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites, which considered work done in the republic on the preservation, use, promotion and state protection of cultural heritage sites in 2018 and set tasks for 2019.

On January 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Chairman of State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov and Head prosecutor of the republic Ildus Nafikov took part in a solemn event, dedicated to the Day of worker of the Prosecutor’s office of the Russian Federation.

On January 12, at the Kazan Theological Seminary of the Kazan Diocese of Russian Orthodox Church, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a traditional meeting with representatives of Tatarstan Metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church.

On January 12, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all regions of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that as many as 40 regional programmes in construction and capital repair of facilities, including 38 long-term programmes and 2 programmes during the current year, to be implemented in Tatarstan in 2019.

On January 11, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation - Chairman of the Judicial Panel for Economic Disputes Sviridenko Oleg visited the Arbitration Court of the Volga district.

On January 11, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation – Chairman of the Judicial Chamber on Economic Disputes Oleg Sviridenko, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan, was met by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan International Airport.

On January 10, speaking at the summing up meeting of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the heads of the enterprises with wage arrears, especially those who hide it, will be imposed the most severe measures in Tatarstan.

On January 10, in Kazan, at a meeting of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the republic, which summed up the results of 2018 and set tasks for 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.  

On January 9, speaking at a briefing at the Government House of the republic, Deputy Police Chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic for Protection of Public Order Fhyargat Mukhametzyanov said that 467 crimes were recorded in Tatarstan from the 31st of December to the 7th of January, which is eight per cent less as compared to the same period last year.
