Implementation of the demographic policy was discussed in Izhevsk at a session of the Council under Plenipotentiary of RF President in Volga Federal District on March 29. The session was held by Plenipotentiary of RF President in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich. Acting President and Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov participated in the event.

Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin presented awards to outstanding academic, cultural, art figures, economic, law, agriculture and government employees. 50 people received awards at the Kazan Kremlin today.

Two-month ecological campaign to start in Kazan on April 15

At a briefing at Tatarstan Government House Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Artem Sidorov informed that this year sanitary and ecological two-month campaign starts on April 15. The date has been changed because of severe weather conditions in republic. Earlier the campaign was implemented on April 1 – June 1. According to the minister, there were other reasons to change the dates.
