On September 8, opening a meeting with the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran led by Deputy Governor of Iran’s East Azerbaijan Province Mr. Hüseyin Behbudi, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov welcomed the guests and expressed his hope that the meeting will give a new impetus to successful and long-term cooperation between the two republics.

On September 7, speaking at a ceremony of reopening of the Kazan Kachalov Academic Russian Drama Theater after its reconstruction,Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan should have a respectable Russian theater to go and invite guests to.

On September 6, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Chief of Staff of the Administrative Office of Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities Services Irek Faizullin visited the Zarnitsa factory and school No. 70 located in Kirovsky district of the city.

On September 5, at a regional videoconference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov reported that as of today 1.27 million hectares or 82 per cent of the grain crop area have been harvested in Tatarstan, with an average yield of 22.3 centners per hectare.

On September 5, at the Tatspirtprom branch “Usadsky Distillery”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a board session of OAO "Tatspirtprom". The main issues on the agenda were results of financial and economic activity of OAO «Tatspirtprom" for the first half of 2014 and implementation of investment projects.
