Rais of Tatarstan meets President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov

On 5 September, upon his arrival to Cholpon-Ata, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, where he shared his impressions from the ceremony of opening the World Nomad Games he attended earlier. 

“I was deeply impressed by the level of organization of the current Games and the spectacular nature of the opening ceremony. It will be not easy to repeat your success but we will try,” he stated. 

Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working trip to the town of Cholpon-Ata

On 5 September, upon his arrival to the International Airport Issyk-Kul of the town of  Cholpon-Ata, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was welcomed by the Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Minister Ulan Mamtakanov and the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan  Akyl Toktobaev.

Rais of Tatarstan welcomes participants of the professional skills competition of young oil workers in Almetyevsk

On 5 September, during his working trip to Almetyevsk, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Head of Almetyevsk region Gyuzel Khabutdinova took part in a ceremony of opening the competition of professional skills among young oil workers. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that such competitions give young specialists a good opportunity to show their skills and knowledge, to take a fresh look at usual work approaches and to see how their colleagues work and borrow the best experience.

Competitions of the World Nomad Games 2026 coming to completion in Kyrgyzstan

On 5 September the resident of Tatarstan Radik Salakhov won the gold medal in the absolute weight category in korash (national wresting competitions), thereby confirming the status of the strongest competitor at the World Nomad Games. As a result the Russian team has won six gold medals, five of them winning athletes from Tatarstan.
