Rustam Minnikhanov and Valeriy Falkov discuss plans for further cooperation in the sphere of higher education and science

On 10 April at their meeting on the sidelines of the Russian Venture Forum in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minikhanov and Russian Minister of Higher Education and Science Valeriy Falkov discussed plans for further cooperation in the sphere of higher education and science, in particular the renovation of the infrastructure of Engineering Chemical and Technological Institute of Kazan National Research Technological University, ramping up work of universities in training engineers and scientific developments for technological leadership and a number of other important issues. 


Rustam Minnikhanov: Russian Venture Forum is an efficient platform for giving an additional impetus to development of domestic innovations system

On 10 April, speaking at a ceremony of opening the XIX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center on 9-11 April with the Russian Minister Valeriy Falkov, the Managing Director of the Russian Association of Venture Investments Albina Nikkonen and other high rank officials, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the Russian Venture Forum is an efficient platform for exchanging the gained experience and best practices, achieving agreements with business partners on implementation of joint projects and for giving an impetus to the development of domestic innovational system. 


Roman Shaykhutdinov: The State should take active part in venture investments

On 10 April in the zero day of the Russian Venture Forum moderated by the Director of the Association of Innovative regions of Russia Aleksandr Smekalin and with participation of 1000 people, including experts, investors, representatives of startups and venture funds, large corporations and development institutions, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov took part in a plenary discussion “The role of regional clusters and economic zones in shaping a venture deals flow”, where its participants discussed factors influencing the venture investments market, the role of key market players in stimulating the investments activity and the most efficient measures of state support in this sphere.
